Translation for horse brands
Accurate, consistent and on-brand translations for all types of equestrian and equine texts, from marketing content, websites and apps to product descriptions, brochures and educational material. With my specialised equine services I can help your message resonate with horse lovers and riders in Dutch. Bonus: thanks to my network I can also deliver your texts in other languages, like English, Spanish, French and German*.
*Please go to the Project Management section for more info about the various language combinations.
What's included:
1. A collaborative process (Translation Brief)
It’s important for me to have a detailed understanding of the style and tone of voice of your horse business, together with
any preferred terminology to make sure the translation aligns with your audience, mission and brand identity. For this reason, you will receive a Translation Brief that I’ll kindly ask you to fill out. This is also a good moment to ask questions back and forth.
2. Proofreading / Editing
Every text receives a second check to make sure everything is correct and the words flow naturally.
3. Formatting & Layout
Your document keeps its structure: headings, bullet points, product specs, table formats. This will be double-checked too.
4. Quality Assurance
A final review with the reader in mind: Does the text sound natural? Is it on-brand?
How does it work?
1. Request a free, non-obligation quote
Send me a message through the Contact Form or e-mail me at fiona @ equinecopy.com to ask for a free quote. I’ll need to take a look at the text that needs to be translated to know what we are talking about. So, please send that too. If you already know when you need your equine translation, let me know and I’ll try to fit it in before your required deadline.
2. Acceptance of the quote
Once you have accepted my quote and Terms & Conditions, I’ll start working on your project.
3. Translation Brief & Questions
I’ll send you the Translation Brief mentioned above to get a thorough understanding of your horse company and your expectations. If either of us still has questions, this is a good time to ask them.
4. Translation in progress
I’ll work on your translation as mentioned above.
5. Translation ready
You’ll receive your translated text within the agreed deadline.
6. Feedback & adjustments
If there is anything in the text you’d like to have changed free of charge (amount of changes within reason), please let me know within 10 working days. After that period, my hourly rate will apply.
7. Until next time…
I hope you are happy with your translation and that I may be of service to you again in the near future.
